Marta Fonseca completed her degree in Medicine in 2005 at NOVA Medical School. She has been attending the PhD program in Health Sciences, specialty Medicine, at NOVA Medical School, since 2019. She is developing a project on "Concept mapping as a tool to facilitate clinical reasoning in complex multimorbidity cases in undergraduate Family Medicine curriculum". She is a Pathophysiology and Family Medicine Assistant at NOVA Medical School and a board-certified practicing Family Physician at CUF Tejo Hospital. She recently published "The effectiveness of concept mapping as a tool for developing critical thinking in undergraduate medical education - a BEME systematic review: BEME Guide No. 81". She works in the area of Medical and Health Sciences with an emphasis on Medical Education in General and Family Medicine.
