Doctor of Visual Arts by the PostGraduate Program in Visual Arts (Concept CAPES 6) at the School of Fine Arts of the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (EBA-UFRJ), with Scholarship by Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel (CAPES-Brazil). Doctoral Internship with Sandwich Scholarship by CAPES in France, at the UFR de Lettres, Sciences du Langage et Arts of Université Lumière Lyon 2, and listener of the seminaries of Antonio Somaini, Barbara Lemaître and Teresa Castro at Sorbonne Nouvelle, Paris 3, and with Georges Didi-Huberman at EHESS/INHA. Her current research focuses on the interdisciplinarities of cinema, especially in his dialogue with painting and contemporary art, a theme present in her doctoral thesis and in her recent works published and presented at academic meetings. Master of Communication, Image and Information by the Post-Graduate Program in Communication (Concept CAPES 6) of Department of Cinema and Video of the Institute of Art and Social Communication of Fluminense Federal University (IACS-UFF), with Scholarship by Research Support Foundation of Rio de Janeiro (FAPERJ). Bachelor's degree in Social Communication, majoring in Journalism, by the School of Communication of Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (ECO-UFRJ). Currently, a Professor at the Communication Department at the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (PUC-Rio) since 2010. Teacher of the subjects Cinema Theory and Criticism, Introduction to Cinema and Semiology and Communication in the courses of Cinema and Art & Design, as well as of the extension courses of Cinema and Painting and Transcinema, Cinema, Painting and Contemporary Art. At PUC-Rio, she was Supervisor of Bachelor's Dissertation in Specialization in Technologies in Higher Education and responsible for the organization, coordination, and curatorship of the seminar "Art and Russian Revolution: 100 Years Later", besides other works. Previously, she was a teacher of the Cinema Courses at UFF, Estácio de Sá University (UNESA) and the Darcy Ribeiro Film School subjects Brazilian History Films, Cinematographic Language, Cinema Production, Production, Politics and Cinema Market. Member of the Portuguese Association of Moving Image Researchers (AIM), Brazilian Society for Cinema and Audiovisual Studies (SOCINE), and Brazilian Society for Interdisciplinary Communication Studies (Intercom), and affiliated with Brazilian Association of Film Critics (ABRACCINE) and International Federation of Film Critics (FIPRESCI). Author of chapters in books and articles published in academic journals. One of the books, in which she wrotes an article and some of the 250 entries, was a finalist at the essay category of the most important literary prize in Brazil. As film criticism and journalist, she have worked for the cultural sections of Jornal do Brasil, Bravo!, and many others press vehicles. She worked as a communication advisor in institutions related to cinema and culture. She also worked at the Film Distribution Company (RioFilme) and as Manager of Cultural Diversity at the Municipal Secretariat of Culture of the Rio de Janeiro City Hall; at the State Secretariat of Science and Technology, where she coordinated the communication of several research institutions and followed the work of two major universities, and at many other organs of the municipal and state administration in science, culture, and education.

2021/08/01 - Atual Cinema and Painting I, II, III - Free course on-line in modules about the relationship between cinema and painting. The first is dedicated to the beginnings of this relationship, the second is more focused on the masters of cinema who illuminated and framed their canvases like painting and the third is directed to the effects of cinema in contemporary art.
