Hélder Baptista received a BSc degree in Biotechnology at the University of Aveiro in June 2019 with the final grade of 16. His final BSc project resulted in a presentation and published abstract in the 6th International Polysaccharide Conference: EPNOE. In November 2021, he enrolled in a MSc in Biomedical Materials and Devices also at the University of Aveiro, finishing with a final grade of 17. During this past couple of years, he was class representative and while studying, he received a 17-months research grant (CENTRO-01-0145-FEDER-031679) to develop self-assembled peptide-based piezoelectric materials. From this work, two articles are currently being prepared to be published in Science Citation Index journals. A poster was also presented and a subtract published in CICECO Jornadas 22. He is currently enrolled in a research grant for the CLEVER project (POCI-01-0247-FEDER-039699) at the Department of Materials and Ceramic Engineering (University of Aveiro), before starting his PhD in Materials Science and Engineering.
