I am a Fellow of the Centre for Online and Distance Education (CODE), University of London, and a Senior Fellow of both Advance HE and SEDA, in recognition of my leadership in teaching and academic development. My interests focus on digital literacies, digital competences, and the pedagogical implications of Artificial Intelligence in education. Most recently, I led the expert team responsible for the scientific review of DigComp 3.0 for the European Commission’s Joint Research Centre (JRC). I have also served as an External Examiner for the University of the West of Scotland and the University of Colombo, Sri Lanka. From 2012 to 2025, I lived in the UK, working in academic development and digital innovation in higher education. I supported academic staff, learning designers, educational technologists, and librarians, and was Co-Programme Director of the MA in Academic Practice at City St George’s, University of London. I am currently an Invited Assistant Professor at Universidade Aberta, where I teach in educational technology and digital education. I am also an Associate Researcher at LE@D – Laboratory for Distance Education and eLearning.
