Stergios Amarantidis earned his PhD in Astrophysics in 2021 from the Instituto de Astrofísica e Ciências do Espaço, a Master of Science degree in 2015 from Universiteit van Amsterdam, and a Bachelor of Physics in 2013 from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. He is currently a post-doctoral researcher at the Instituto de Radioastronomía Milimétrica (IRAM).
