I am currently pursuing a PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering at the Faculty of Engineering, University of Porto (FEUP), while simultaneously working as a research fellow at the CRIIS (Centre for Robotics and Intelligent Systems) within INESC TEC. My research spans across robotics, control systems, and automation, areas that I have been deeply passionate about since the beginning of my academic journey. My MSc thesis focused on trajectory control and obstacle avoidance for mobile robots, leading to the publication of a scientific paper on a Nonlinear Model Predictive Control (NMPC) architecture for omnidirectional robots.
