Marina Mota holds a bachelor's degree in Design and a master's degree in Information Design at the Federal University of Pernambuco (Brazil). Her domain area is Information Design focusing on planning and analysis of educational artifacts. In 2015 she co-founded a design studio, working on branding, design thinking and design workshops. Later she worked as an educational instructor at the Apple Developer Academy - UFPE, contributing to Higher Education students in the development of mobile applications for society's problems. In Portugal, she worked as facilitator of educational activities in the Aveiro STEAM City project and is currently an FCT doctoral fellow (2020.07278.BD) at the Research Centre Didactics and Technology in the Education of Trainers, within the scope of the Education Doctoral Program at University of Aveiro.
