Cláudia Pires Ribau é doutorada em Marketing e Estratégia pela Universidade de Aveiro; é Especialista em Marketing; é pós-graduada em Marketing e licenciada em Comunicação Empresarial. Leciona no ensino superior desde 2004 nas áreas do marketing, marketing internacional, marketing relacional, marketing e comunicação digitais, comunicação, comunicação integrada no marketing, comunicação e publicidade, negócios internacionais, comportamento de consumo, gestão de recursos humanos, gestão das organizações. Foi coordenadora pedagógica do Departamento de Comunicação e Marketing (DETCOM), membro do Conselho Pedagógico e membro da Comissão Permanente do Conselho Técnico-Científico. Como coordenadora, dinamizou novos projetos pedagógicos, tendo sob sua responsabilidade o desenvolvimento de novos cursos (nos 1º e 2º ciclos), coordenação pedagógica e coordenação do corpo docente. Participa como elemento do júri em diversas provas académicas. Na produção técnico-científica, focaliza a sua investigação na área do marketing internacional, sobretudo em PME. Atualmente está inscrita em Pós-Doutoramento. A par do seu desempenho técnico-científico (ao nível da investigação) e da sua capacidade pedagógica, possui ainda experiência profissional na indústria de mais de 25 anos na área do marketing, comunicação e gestão de recursos humanos. É de 2002 a 2024 diretora de marketing numa PME transformadora que atua em contexto B2B, tendo exercido anteriormente responsabilidades funcionais na área da comunicação, gestão estratégica de recursos humanos e gestão integrada dos recursos humanos. Está envolvida em vários projetos, não só no âmbito especificamente do marketing (sobretudo industrial), mas também na gestão estratégica, sendo elemento do conselho de direção. -- Claudia Pires Ribau holds a Ph.D. in Marketing and Strategy from the University of Aveiro; she is a Marketing Specialist; she has a postgraduate degree in Marketing and a bachelor's degree in Business Communication. She has been teaching in higher education since 2004 in the areas of marketing, international marketing, relational marketing, digital marketing and communication, communication, integrated marketing communication, communication and advertising, international business, consumer behavior, human resources management, and organizational management. She was the pedagogical coordinator of the Department of Communication and Marketing (DETCOM), a member of the Pedagogical Council, and a member of the Permanent Commission of the Technical-Scientific Council, at a Polytechnic Institute. As a coordinator, she led new pedagogical projects and was responsible for the development of new courses (at both undergraduate and graduate levels), pedagogical coordination, and coordination of the teaching staff. She participates as a jury member in several academic examinations. In her technical-scientific production, she focuses her research in the area of international marketing, particularly in SMEs. She is currently involved in a post-doctoral program. In addition to her technical-scientific performance (in research) and pedagogical ability, she also has over 25 years of professional experience in the industry in the areas of marketing, communication, and human resources management. Since 2002-2024, she has been the marketing manager in a B2B context-industrial SME, having previously held functional responsibilities in the areas of communication, strategic human resources management, and integrated human resources management. She is involved in several projects, not only in the specifically marketing field (especially industrial), but also in strategic management, being a member of the board of directors.
