My name is Inês Gomes and I completed my degree in Industrial Chemistry on 07/2020 and my master's degree in the same course on 07/2022, both from the University of Beira Interior. I am currently enrolled in a PhD in Chemistry at the same institution. I am most interested in the areas of Chemical Sciences, with emphasis on Electrochemistry. Since I started my degree, I have always liked the idea of research. I believe that pursuing a PhD will be beneficial for my academic and professional career, as it helps me develop new skills in the area of environmental bioelectrochemistry, and for my personal training, as I am a persistent person who always seeks to learn more. At the moment I am part of a project with a Research Scholarship for a Master's Degree, within the scope of the Research Project entitled Carbo2Soil Project.
