Marie Ouarné is a junior researcher focusing her research on vascular development and diseases. Marie Ouarné graduated from one of the top-level French Universities in biotechnology engineering, the ENSTBB in 2014. Then, she successfully completed her PhD in Cell Biology at the Université Grenoble Alpes and the CEA/IRIG in 2017. Since 2018, she is working in Claudio Franco's lab at the Instituto de Medicina Molecular as a junior postdoctoral researcher and is part of the ATTRACT Leducq transatlantic network. During her research carreer, Marie Ouarné successfully won highly competitive grants. In 2014, she obtained an international Irtelis funding from the CEA (~20/400) to finance her PhD during which she participated to successfull grant writings at the Ligue Contre le Cancer and the Fondation ARC pour la recherche sur le cancer. More recently, in 2019, she obtained a Marie Curie Individual Fellowship to finance her postdoctoral work.
