Maria Manuela Restivo is a researcher and curator, working in the field of ¿¿vernacular and popular artistic practices. She holds a degree in Anthropology from the University of Coimbra, a Master's degree in Museology from the University of Porto and a PhD in Heritage Studies/Art History from the same university, with the support of FCT. Her PhD, completed in 2022, focused on the actors and narratives surrounding Portuguese folk arts. She has been working as a consultant for various public and private entities, developing texts, projects and exhibitions around vernacular artistic practices.
