Juliane Menezes

I am an enthusiastic of biomedical research and I am fascinated with cutting-edge technologies that unravel the molecular basis of cancer. I am an Associate Researcher at the Integrative Biomedicine research group at cE3c, Faculdade de Ciências, Universidade de Lisboa (FCUL) and an affiliated researcher at the Nova Medical School, Universidade Nova de Lisboa. I am author/ co-author of 22 scientific papers in international journals and 1 book chapter with a total citation of 862 (H-index = 13; GoogleScholar). My main field of research interest is based on an entirely new approach to identify and target dormant cancer cells that may eventually lead to long-term metastatic spread.
