Sofia Alexandra Soares de Miranda Ferreira Cruz. Sociologist, Assistant Professor with Habilitation at Faculty of Economics of University of Porto (FEP-UP), where she is Member of the Monitoring Committee of the Bachelor in Management. Researcher of the Institute of Sociology of University of Porto (IS-UP), coordinating the Ethics Comission. Member of the technical evaluation team of the 2nd Edition of the "Equality is Quality" Prize promoted by CITE (Commission for Equality in Labour and Employment of the Ministry of Economy and Employment). She has received in 2001 a honorable mention by the Women Research Prize Carolina Michaelis de Vasconcelos (Master thesis: Between Work and Home. Portrait of Hypermarkets Female Workers). Accomplished the Habilitation in Sociology (2018), University of Porto; Post-Doctorate in Sociology of Organisations and Professional Groups (2013), University of Porto and Université de Versailles Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines; PHD in Sociology (2008), University of Porto; Master Degree in Social Sciences (2002), University of Lisbon and Bachelor in Sociology (1998), University of Porto. She conducts activities both as researcher and supervisor of projects about the following main fields: work and digital platforms; work, time uses and well-being; precarious work; professional groups and organisational culture; corporate social entrepreneurship and social responsibility in organisations. She is author and co-author of scientific articles, books and book chapters in these fields.
