Helena G. M. F. Gomes holds a Master's degree in Environmental Engineering (2017) and the Advanced Training Course of the Doctoral Program in Biorefineries (2019), both from the University of Aveiro. She participated in the Co-Promotion Project with Bosch Termotecnologia, SA, titled SMART GREEN HOMES, as a Research Fellow, and was part of the INPACTUS Project, a co-promotion project with the company The Navigator Company, as a research fellow and later as a collaborator. She is currently a PhD student with an FCT scholarship in Chemical Engineering and a collaborator in the Moving2Neutrality (M2N) project, in com-promotion with GALP. She is the author and co-author of 10 WoS papers – h-index of 7. Her work focuses on the thermochemical conversion of forest residues, aiming to develop new sustainable methodologies to improve the quality of the fuel gas produced during biomass gasification.
