Adriana Catarina da Costa Gomes

Adriana Gomes is currently a PhD student in Nanosciences and Nanotechnology at the University of Aveiro. She holds a BSc in Biotechnology (2019) and an MSc in Molecular Biotechnology (2021), both obtained at the University of Aveiro. Her academic and research path has focused on coordination chemistry combined with materials engineering for biomedical applications, providing her with strong laboratory autonomy, experience with a wide range of experimental techniques, and well-developed critical thinking and work planning skills. She has actively participated in several scientific meetings and presented her work at both national and international conferences. Adriana is the co-author of four scientific articles published in international peer-reviewed journals. Adriana is passionate about life and the unknown. She aims to find out how everything works, and that is where her path and science meet.
