Adriana Catarina da Costa Gomes

Adriana Gomes completed her BSc in Biotechnology in 2019 and her MSc in Molecular Biotechnology in 2021, both from the University of Aveiro. During her academic path, her BSc project and her MSc thesis focused on exploring coordination chemistry for biomedical applications, which gave her the opportunity to acquire autonomy in a laboratory environment, to try several experimental techniques (e.g. UV-Vis, FTIR, FT-Raman spectroscopies, TGA, EA), and to develop critical thinking. Adriana participated in several scientific meetings and was involved in four poster presentations at national and international conferences. She is one of the co-authors of a scientific article published in an international journal, and she is currently writing a review article that is going to be submitted for publication in 2023. In general, Adriana is passionate about life and the unknown. She aims to find out how everything works, and that is where her path and science meet.
