Sara Golmaryami is an accomplished scholar with a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (2011) from Karaj Azad University, Iran, and a Master's degree in Industrial Engineering (2018) from the same institution. During her Master's studies, Sara worked as a researcher in the R&D department of a telecom company, where she gained invaluable experience bridging the gap between industry and academia. Her thesis focused on developing a business model to select services in Internet Service Providers Firms in Iran, which demonstrated her expertise in innovative business models. Her passion for academic research led her to pursue a PhD in her field of interest. Currently, she is a PhD candidate at the University of Minho's School of Engineering's Department of Production and Systems, where she is conducting research on innovative business models, smart energy systems, agent-based modelling, consumer behaviour as well as technology innovation, supply chain, and IoT with consideration of sustainable goals. Her research interests showcase her expertise in interdisciplinary fields, highlighting her ability to integrate diverse knowledge and find solutions to complex problems. Sara has honed her skills in programming languages, computational modelling, decision-making tools, and statistics like Agent-based Modeling, machine learning techniques, TOPSIS, Python, Java, and NetLogo. Her proficiency in these areas has enabled her to effectively conduct research and analyze data, making her an asset to any research team. Throughout her professional academic career, she has a track record of effectively presenting and publishing her research at numerous national and international conferences and events with a primary focus on innovative business models, smart energy systems, and sustainability. Her ability to communicate her research findings in a clear and concise manner demonstrates her expertise in academic writing and presentation skills. Currently, Sara works as a researcher in informatics, industrial, and system engineering in the Continental Project collaborating with Centro ALGORITMI - Universidade do Minho since January 2022. Her professional academic background and experience demonstrate her dedication to advancing knowledge in her field and contributing to society through research.
