I hold a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (2011) and a Master's in Industrial Engineering (2018) from Karaj Azad University, Iran. During my Master's studies, I worked as a researcher in the R&D department of a telecommunications company, where I developed a business model for selecting Internet Service Providers in Iran. Currently, I am a PhD candidate at the School of Engineering, University of Minho, with a research focus on innovative business models, smart energy systems, agent-based modelling, demand response, and consumer behaviour. My research aims to contribute to sustainable development within the energy sector. I have strong technical skills in programming, statistics, and computational modelling. I am proficient in decision-making tools and languages like Python, Java, NetLogo, and various machine learning techniques. My work has been presented at international conferences and published in high-impact journals, including recent articles on social learning in demand-side management and the sizing of hybrid energy storage systems. From January 2022 to June 2023, I was a researcher on the Continental Project at Centro ALGORITMI, University of Minho. From June 2023 to June 2024, I was a research assistant at INESC TEC’s Center for Power and Energy Systems, contributing to the InterSTORE project. Since September 2024, I have been awarded an FCT PhD fellowship to support my thesis on sustainable business models in the energy sector. This academic and professional journey reflects a consistent commitment to advancing knowledge and driving innovation in sustainable energy.
