Filipa Alexandra Delgado Siopa completed her Ph.D. degree in December 2011 from New University of Lisbon, Portugal and Chemistry degree in 2003 by Universidade de Lisboa Faculdade de Ciências. Since 2012, Filipa Siopa work in the Bioorganic Chemistry group in iMed.ULisbon, with Prof. Carlos A. M. Afonso. In January 2013 she started as a Post-doct with a FCT fellowship. Currently, she is a Junior Research on the Bioorganic Chemistry group in iMed.ULisbon. Her main research focus is the synthesis and valorization of bicyclic-aziridines prepared by photochemical transformation of pyridinium salts. The application of this photochemical transformations under continuous-flow is also a topic of her research. To lead these projectsFilipa Siopa improved/developed silks in the fields of Flow Chemistry, Photochemistry, Analytic Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Bioorganic Chemistry, Structural Analysis, Medicinal Chemistry and Drug Discovery. Filipa Siopa is also interested in C-H activation, which allowed a Scientific Exchange Visits to Prof. Giovanni Poli Group at Sorbonne Université (Paris, France) Filipa Siopa is a Researcher in Universidade de Lisboa Faculdade de Farmácia.
