Completed the MSc in Biochemistry for health in 2018 and BSc in Biochemistry in 2016, both by Universidade Nova de Lisboa Faculdade de Ciências e Tecnologia. In 2019, I integrated the FCT project "Understand to treat: Combining in vitro and in silico strategies to explore new therapeutic approaches to the most common mitochondrial fatty acid ß-oxidation disorder (mFAO)" in the MetGenPro Lab (iMED.ULisboa), while collaborating on 3 other projects with different subjects. After 5 years of research experience, I am a PhD student of iMed.ULisboa and ITQB, and my research focus on mitochondrial ß-oxidation of medium-chain fatty acids. In total, I authored 4 scientific papers, 12 poster communications and 4 oral communications in several national and international events.
