| 2016/04/15 - 2017/04/15 | The 10th National Encounter for Biochemistry students (X ENEBIOQ) happened in the University of Minho, Braga, Portugal. In
a joined effort Braga was home for more than 300 portuguese students from Universities and Institutes from all over the country.
The program had lectures from areas such as biology, chemistry, bioengeneering, biomedicine, forensic medicine, going through
basic to clinical research. Moreover, also workshops were adeed to enrich the experience of the participants. (2017/04/07 - 2017/04/10)

| 2019/11/06 - 2019/11/07 | A total of 14 ITN funded projects were part of the Cluster event, as well as representatives of the Unit “Innovative and Personalised
Medicine” of the Directorate General RTD of the European Commission . This Cluster Event on Personalised Medicine was split
into three complementary phases: first, the researchers present their contribution to policy activities, then the policy makers
present what they still need; and finally, both sides discuss how they can support each other in the development and legislation
of personalised medicine.

| 2019/07/01 - 2019/07/03 | The main topic of this simposium was the new insights on metabolic studies, specifically direct studies of mitochondrial physiology;
basic and clinical studies of the outcomes of metabolic dysfunction in tissues, as well as a deeper look at CRISPPR-CAS9
and nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy techniques as innovative tools for metabolic analysis. Moreover, two workshops
were part of the program: how to create and develop a star-up, and how to prepare a scientific abstract.
