She received her PhD in Nano chemistry from the University of Tehran-Iran in 2019. She is the author of more than 30 publications. She served as a lead author in 7 highly cited articles, and 15 top Journal articles (Q1), with over 2300 citations (h-index: 16 without self-citation). She is on the editorial board of two journals: Progress in Chemical and Biochemical Research and Asian Journal of Nanoscience and Materials also a guest editor for the Carbon Letters journal. She reviews several articles in different journals like Fuel, International Journal of hydrogen energy, food and chemical toxicology, Chemosphere, etc. During her Post-Doc (2020- now), her research focus is "evolved" from synthesis and characterization of novel active materials in laboratory conditions, to scalable fabrication of integrated systems with a wide range of electrochemical materials. she did an MSc (2012-2014), under the supervision of Professor Hassan Karimi, who is a highly cited researcher selected by clarivate analytics and the Top 1% of Scientists in Chemistry and Agriculture simultaneously in ISI Essential Science Indicators. During her PhD period (2014-2019) she had the opportunity to work with Professor Mohammad Reza Ganjali, who is as well top 1% scientist in the field of nanomaterials, and electrochemistry sensors. There she focused on the synthesis of carbon-based materials including GO, rGO, and GQD and their nanocomposites also using them as modifier electrodes for designing electrochemical sensors. At the same time, during her Ph.D. period, she was the team leader of Professor Karimi’s lab. In the last year of her Ph.D., she received a grant from the Ministry of Science of Iran, for 6 months, to visit Professor Christopher Brett's group at the University of Coimbra (UC), who is a reference figure in electrochemistry, and his book in electrochemistry is one of the main references for students of this field. Through her visiting research period, not only she further developed her electrochemical knowledge, but also her capacity for team working and communication skills enhanced. In 2020, she made an interdisciplinary move to the Soft and Printed Microelectronics Laboratory (SPM) at UC. Here, she learned SOTA fabrication methods of printed and stretchable electronics, and batteries, and learned about the extraordinary role of Liquid Metals, that are changing the way we fabricate smart electronic devices. She combined her background in graphene-based materials, with the expertise of SPM-UC, and worked on the composites including the graphene products (G, GO, and GQD), with Liquid Metals. In less than 3 years, she was able to demonstrate three different composites, with application in flexible transparent conductors for solar cells and optoelectronic devices, and a super-capacitor with a record-breaking value. During these years, she published 17 articles, and 5 of them are highly cited. (Unfortunately, during the last two years, and in challenging circumstances due to the COVID-19 pandemic, its restrictions, and quarantines, we have had many obstacles getting our research results published faster.) In 2020, she was co-supervised by an MSc student (Guilherme Costa) who just defended his thesis, and their article related to 3D printable and Stretchable batteries is published in Advanced Functional Materials. Aside from that, she supervised two MSc students at UC (Diogo Oliveira, and Marta Freitas). Also, she already supervises one Ph.D. student(Alexandre Chambel) at UC.
