I hold a PhD in Psychology from the Universitat Autónoma de Barcelona (Spain). Currently, I am PostDoctoral Research Fellow at ITI-LARSyS (Portugal) and Co-Principal Investigator (PI) of the “Interaction and Perception” Research Line at the Center for Basic Research in Psychology (Uruguay). My research work in educational technology has a multidisciplinary focus on Human-Computer Interaction, Cognitive and Social Psychology, and Learning Sciences to create inclusive and equitable learning opportunities for children, including children from low socio-economic backgrounds and those with visual impairments. Over the past six years, as the PI on four international research projects, we developed educational and accessible technology with multisensory and tangible elements, to potentiate learning, play and collaboration among children.
