Ana Malheiro is a Facility Specialist in Electron Microscopy with 15 years of experience in TEM, SEM, Cryo TEM and FIB SEM. Over the last four years, she has been increasingly dedicated to materials science characterization using advanced electron microscopy techniques. She is an independent user of instruments such as JEOL JEM 2100/1400, Thermo Scientific Glacios Cryo TEM, Titan ChemiSTEM HRTEM, FEI Quanta 650 FEG SEM and Helios NanoLab 450S DualBeam. Her expertise includes life and materials sciences sample preparation, EDXS, SAED, CLEM workflows, cryosectioning and ultrathin sectioning. She is skilled in protocol optimization, user training, instrument maintenance and data interpretation. With a strong service oriented mindset, she supports multidisciplinary research through high quality EM characterization.
