Bárbara Raquel Soares Nunes completed her bachelor's degree in Biochemistry in 2018 by University of Minho. During this time, she developed her bachelor's project entitled "Evaluation of microbial lipid production by oleaginous yeasts". After, Bárbara enrolled in the master in Biochemistry by Faculty of Science of the University of Porto (FCUP) & Institute of Biomedical Science Abel Salazar (ICBAS) - Porto, Portugal, completed in 2020. Her master thesis entitled "Development of new antibiotics for the current public health bacterial threats" was conducted in FCUP, in collaboration with Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto (FEUP) and Faculty of Pharmacy of the University of Porto (FFUP). Bárbara is currently a PhD student in the Chemical and Biological Engineering doctorate programme at FEUP.
