Completed a Degree in Sports Sciences (2013) and a Masters in Sports Training for Children and Young People (2015) at the Faculty of Sports Sciences and Physical Education at the University of Coimbra. In 2015, he completed a postgraduate degree in Personalized Training at the Universidade Lusófona de Humanidades e Tecnologias. In 2016, he obtained the status of doctoral fellow from the Foundation for Science and Technology (SFRH / BD / 1241441/2016) with Prof. Doctor Manuel João Coelho e Silva, Prof. Doctor João Alberto Valente dos Santos and Prof. Doctor Lauren Esliger Sherar. In May, July 2018, and 2019, he carried out the first and second outgoing missions to Loughborough University's School of Sport, Exercise, and Health Science. In 2022, he finished his PhD and BSc in Sports Sciences and Nutrition. He has obtained a post-doc research grant and has more than 40 scientific papers in peer-reviewed journals and 50 abstracts in conferences.
