Licenciado em Biologia Ambiental e Mestre em Biologia da Conservação. Doutorei-me em Biodiversidade, Genética e Evolução em 2023 com Distinção e Louvor. Durante o meu Doutoramento estudei as consequências evolutivas da cópia da escolha de parceiros sexuais em populações estruturadas, usando modelos baseados em indivíduos. O meu Doutoramento foi supervisionado pela Professora Margarida Matos, pela Professora Susana A. M. Varela, e pelo Professor Ingo Schlupp. Atualmente sou Investigador Pós-Doutorado no Institute of Science and Environment (ISE) da University of Saint Joseph (USJ) em Macau, detentor da bolsa Funding Scheme of Macao for Science and Technology R&D Talent do Science and Technology Development Fund (FDCT). O meu projeto atual, orientado pelo Professor David Gonçalves, consiste no estudo dos efeitos do microbioma intestinal no desenvolvimento do comportamento em peixes.
