Anna Tsoupra

PhD researcher at Laboratório HERCULES (Herança Cultural Estudos e Salvaguarda). Completed the MSc in Archaeological Materials Science in 2017 by University of Evora, University of Rome, La Sapienza, University of Thessaloniki, Aristoteleio (Joint Master) and the BA in Conservation of Archaeological Artifacts and Works of Art in 2010 by Technological Educational Institute (TEI-A) of Athens. The main research areas concern Archaeology, Archaeometry, Material Science and CH Conservation/ Conservation Science. Participation in a wide number of projects focused on Cultural Heritage and Material Science. Participation in 4 projects and involvment in 10 research studies (bolsa investigação-24months, self-employed-5months) as Researcher in HERCULES Laboratory, participation in 1 project as Junior Researcher in National Research Center 'Demokritos' (28months, part time). Participation in 23 projects as CH Conservator (56 months). The scientific activity is demonstrated in 1 book chapter, 2 journal articles and in 3 abstracts, 5 papers and 2 posters in conference proccedings. Experience in analytical techniques, such as SEM_EDS, XRD, XRF, ICP-MS, TGA, FTIR, petrographic microscope. Excellent skills in time-management and multi-tasking, also in projects with tight deadlines. A wide professional experience in interdisciplinary projects and team-working with multinational groups, also in diverse contexts. High competence in problem-solving and decision-making process. Good organisational and team-leading skills. Experience in mentoring/tutoring and on-the-job training. Experience in museum-exhibition installation and seminar organization. Native speaker of Greek, proficient user of English, independent user of Spanish and German and basic user of Portuguese and Arabic. Experience in analytical instrument softwares. Proficiency on Microsoft Office Suite - Certificate ict Intermediate C (peer-review by ict europe, 2012) and good command of Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat Pro).
