Jênnyfer Freitas holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the Federal University of Acre (UFAC) and a Master’s degree in Health Psychology and Neuropsychology from the University of Aveiro (UA). During her bachelor’s degree, she also pursued studies at the University of Porto (UP) through an Ibero-American Scholarship. As a research fellow at the EvoCog Laboratory (UA), she embarked on her studies in the field of adaptive memory. Currently, she is a Ph.D. student at the William James Center for Research within the Department of Education and Psychology at UA. Her Ph.D. project, focusing on adaptive memory and mate selection, receives support from the Portuguese Foundation for Science and Technology (UI/BD/154832/2023). Her work is supervised by Josefa N. S. Pandeirada (WJCR-UA) and co-supervised by Gün R. Semin (WJCR-ISPA – Instituto Universitário). Jênnyfer’s research interests encompass experimental psychology, cognitive psychology, and evolutionary psychology.
