Luis Irio received the M.Sc. and Ph.D. in electrical and computer engineering from the Nova University of Lisbon, Portugal, in 2013 and 2019, respectively. From 2014 to 2015, he was a Researcher at CTS-UNINOVA. From 2015 to 2019, he developed the Ph.D. research work at Instituto de Telecomunicações, Lisbon, Portugal. During the Ph.D. period, Luis Irio published 9 articles in prominent international journals (8 of which in the first quarter of the Scimago Journal Rank) and 19 papers in international peer-reviewed conferences. From 2019 to 2020, he was a post-doctoral researcher at Instituto de Telecomunicações. He is currently a Data Scientist at Altran (World Class Center of Analytics & AI), and his current research interests include machine learning, deep learning, and big data analytics.
