Dr. Bialowiec has over 20 years of experience in waste management and environmental engineering research, development and implementation technologies including the (1) development and implementation on use of constructed wetlands to neutralize sewage sludge, leachate and wastewater, (2) waste bio-stabilization including: waste anaerobic digestion with biogas recovery, aerobic composting, and waste biodrying, (3) waste conversion into solid and gaseous fuels with application of torrefaction, pyrolysis and gasification technologies. Dr. Bialowiec has initiated the novel concept to waste management approach – Waste to Carbon. In total, the technical and technological solutions developed by Dr. Bialowiec have been implemented in full scale 15 times. Dr. Bialowiec has 1 international patent (European Union), 3 disclosures of inventions (Poland). Dr. Bialowiec is an author of 62 expert opinions, expert studies and professional reports.
