Mariana Pina Lince de Faria is graduted in Genetics and Microbiology by Lisbon University and has a PhD in Genetics by Lisbon University. Principal Investigator of an Exploratory Project financed by Fundação Para a Ciência e Tecnologia in 2014/2015 (EXPL_BIM_ONC_0830_2013). Lab Manager and Research Scientist in Instituto Gulbenkian Ciencia / Gulbenkian Institute for Molecular Medicine). Research Interests focused in Cell Biology, Centrosome Biogenesis, Cell Cycle and Mitosis. Experience working with different biological systems such as fruit fly (Drosophila melanogaster), mouse (mus muscullus) and tissue culture of cells from different origins. Multiple years of expertise in Molecular Biology and Biochemistry techniques as well as in state of the art microscopy and improving sample quality for better imaging. Proven history of optimizing and maintaining organized and accessible lab areas in alignment with good laboratory functioning and a friendly working environment.
