I’m a conservator-restorer with 18 years of professional experience in the field conservation and restoration, and with expertise in modern and contemporary art. I hold a recognized University degree in Conservation with a focus in Modern and Contemporary Art and Preventive Conservation. I have a large experience as Contemporary Art Conservation. Since march 2007 I have worked as a conservator-restorer in the "Conservation and Restoration Center La Venaria Reale (CCR)" - Turin (Italy), with special competence in Modern and Contemporary Art and Easel Painting. Since 2013, I am the Coordinator of Contemporary Art and Design Objects in the Conservation Laboratories, with a confirmed involvement within the research of industrial collections conservation. From 2012 I’m a teacher in the long cycle Master Degree in the subject of Contemporary Art Restauration at the University of Turin as well on the supervision of professional Master of Arts (M.A.) of Conservation and Restoration research. I developed skills in Contemporary Art, Museology, Art History, Cultural Heritage and Curatorship. I always achieved my research goals and presented my works in different conferences. Within my professional experience, I can highlight my work in museums of great national and international prestige, such as the Galleria Nazionale d'Arte Moderna (Roma), as well as internships in several Museums, Restoration Departments. I am a sensitive person, curious, respectful of other cultures, with a broad initiative in questions of new technologies and communication and with a strong passion for my profession. My studies and experience in different venues, in Spain, Italy and abroad, allowed me to pull out the best of myself, and to procced with a long life learning strategy towards a permanent update and training, which have helped me to grow as a professional and as a person.I consider myself a competent, interested and demanding person in professional practice, and with an enormous ability for learning and adaptation to new environments, fields of knowledge and work processes that I try to surpass all the challenges and to reach the objectives that I propose. I be able to develop and create new databases on software Filemaker pro 13 advance. I use other software as AutoCAD, Photoshop and Microsoft Office. I always have a good capacity to adapt myself to challenges and new situations and for interacting with interdisciplinary teams. As a result of my professional activity I developed specific knowledge and skills in material preservation such as: - Current museum practices of storage, handling, environmental monitoring and control. - Works of art and cultural goods assessment and condition considering loans, exhibition and act as courier when required. -- Planning and implement all preventive conservation measures for the growing collection, including proper storage methods. I am registered to INCCA (International Network in Conservation of Contemporary Art) and I’m a member of ACRE (Asociación de Conservadores y Restauradores Españoles) and GEIIC (Spanish Group of International Conservation Institute).
