In top 10% most cited worldwide 18.8%.(Scival Elsevier 2016-21). I got a 4-year FPI at UCA to develop the thesis “New methods for the characterization of accelerants in arsons”. I spent 6 months at National Center for Forensic Science (NCFS), University of Central Florida (USA) and I participated in a project sponsored by the U.S National Institute of Justice for the development of the Ignitable Liquids (IL) Database/Reference Collection. I was trained in fire debris analysis by the reference method to start with this new research line at UCA. I gained extensive experience in the field of developing methods for characterizing ILs based on HS-MS electronic nosetogether with chemometrics. In 2015, I completed my Ph.D. (Cum laude and International Mention). As a result of my young research career, I´ve obtained: 68 JCR articles, 7 book chapters,+50 conference communications (17 oral national/international); 1 International Plenary Conference); 5 scientific awards: “The Best Student Paper" at the international conference FSCR 2013 or “Cátedra Cepsa Award- UCA 2014 and 2018. My research is focused on the development of analytical methods for the characterization of volatile organic compounds from fire debris, ILs, petroleum products and foodstuff by spectrometry techniques, mainly HS-MS electronic nose and IMS in combination with chemometrics (machine learning). In this sense, I authored 25 JCR articles. I have also experience in the optimization of extraction techniques (UAE, PLE, MAE) (20 publications) and chromatographic methods (UHPLC) (12 publications) in different matrices. I´ve started to research in the assessment of chemical/physical risks in working environments like Police Officers and Firefighters. I got 2 articles and 1 in process. I am currently Guest Editor of a Special Issue “Police Officers, Firefighters and/or Militaries High-Risk Job Occupations: Assessment of the Different Threats and Preventive Measures" International Journal of Environmental Research and Public Health (JCR, Q1, 12 articles). I am IP of R&D research project founded by ERDF and Regional Government of Andalusia focused on fire debris analysis by HS advanced techniques (Young Research Modality)(2020-23). So far, the results of this have produced 4 publications. I was IP (Young Research Modality) of a research project (2016), focused on fire investigation granted by UCA (7 JCR publications). I´am participating in European Union project focused on prevention and extinction of forest fires. I count on the collaborations, especially Urban Firefighters Units (Cádiz, Sevilla, Madrid), forest firefighters (INFOCA) and internationally with Dr. Sigman, director of the NCFS. I participated in 1 National Research Project about assessment of risks in police officers. The results were patented since defense material used by the police was designed. I was involved in the organization of I International Conference on Technical and Legal Evaluation of Police Operation. I participated in 6 OTRI about analysis of sauces by UHPLC and 1 related to analytical instrumentation with CEPSA. I highlight my international academic activity at European Erasmus Mundus Masters (EMQAL and WACOMA) and in the SEA-EU. I received the “Scientific Woman Award 2019” by the Alumni Society in the Faculty of Sciences. I participated in: 15 Education, Research and Innovation Projects (2 awarded), +25 Scientific dissemination activities like the European Researchers´ Night, Scientist for a Day: Science for All.
