With over 20 international publications in the realm of perovskite-based functional materials, specializing in structure-property correlations, particularly interested in compositional tuning and site-selective substitution in perovskites and layered perovskites. Proficient in managing unconventional synthetic methods, such as chemical engineering of layered structures via metal ion exchange, and exfoliating natural perovskite layers into 2D nanosheets. Possessing a comprehensive skill set in materials characterization, including structural analysis techniques such as X-ray diffraction and neutron powder diffraction, Raman spectroscopy, and elemental analysis methods like X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS). Additionally experienced in surface analysis techniques such as scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and atomic force microscopy (AFM), as well as thermal analysis methods like thermogravimetric analysis (TGA). Proficient in characterizing materials properties, including magnetic, resistivity, and heat capacity measurements. Engaged in beamtime activities at the Solid State Physics Experimental Hall of ISOLDE-CERN, conducting radioactive isotope implantation and perturbed angular correlation experiments. Skilled in operating equipment such as the Rigaku SmartLab X-Ray Diffractometer, Renishaw Qontor Confocal Raman Microscope, QD-SQUID-MPMS3, and QD-PPMS. Actively involved in preparing and executing project proposals and beamtime proposals, as well as serving as a co-supervisor for PhD and Masters students.
