Marta Alexandra Lages Ferreira

Marta Alexandra Lages Ferreira concluded in 2016 a Bachelor's degree in Applied Biology in the Biology department, at University of Minho and in 2018 a Master's Degree in Biotechnology in the Centre of Biological Engineering, also at University of Minho. She also had a research grant under the project ¿SPO3 - Development of new and sustainable sources of protein and omega-3 for fish feed¿. At this time, she is a PhD student in the Chemical and Biological Engineering Doctoral Program at University of Minho. Throughout her academic career she had the opportunity to develop learning and work tools, especially in the area of microbiology. She works mainly in the areas of Agrarian Sciences with emphasis on Agrarian, Food and Marine Biotechnology.
