PhD with International Mention in History of Art and Heritage Studies by the Universities of Santiago de Compostela and Porto, excellence cum laude; MA in History of Portuguese Art and BA in History of Art by the University of Porto. Visiting scholar at the Département Patrimoines et Paysages Culturels - SHS/Université Jean Monnet (France) and integrated researcher of the R&D centres IACOBUS-USC and CITCEM-FLUP. He was a guest researcher at DIDA - Dipartimento di Architettura da Università degli Studi di Firenze (Italy). He is a consultant in Cultural Heritage and Museology and a member of the organising committee of the International Heritage Summer School. As a senior technician in Museology, he worked in the Douro Museum and in the National Palace of Pena. His main activities were the programming and production of temporary and permanent exhibitions; inventory, research, and management of collections; preventive conservation and conditioning of cultural assets, and the implementation of the MuD project - network of museums in the Douro. He is currently museologist at the Cerveira Biennial Foundation.
