Andrea CAVAGNINO. Completed the Doutoramento in Electrical Engineering in 2020 by Politecnico di Torino. Is Full Professor in Politecnico di Torino. Prof Cavagnino’s researches include the innovative electromagnetic and thermal design and energetic behavior of electric machines, with the development of advanced design schemes, magnetic material characterization, and loss modeling for specific and innovative applications (e.g. industrial induction motors, axial-flux IPM motor for in-wheel motor applications, multi-phase electrical machines, high speed machines, permanent magnet brushless generators for aircraft, 48V automotive starters/generators) During his career, prof Cavagnino published more than 250 papers in peer-reviewed international journals (84), international conference proceedings (167), and chapter books (3).
