| 2024/04/18 - 2024/04/19 | Dissemination: "Marine macroplastics: a source of antibiotic-resistant bacteria" (general public). This activity was included
in the event "Ocean Open Day 2024". I was responsible for an activity where people learned how to inoculate bacteria on agar
plates and techniques for loading an agarose gel for electrophoresis. We also showed genetically engineered bacteria capable
of producing fluorescence and explained its uses in modern science.

| 2024/01/18 - 2024/01/18 | Dissemination: Visit to the High School "Josefa de Óbidos" (12-15 year old students). As a member of the task force created
by the Polytechnic of Leiria to disseminate its course offer to potential future students, I helped plan and organise this
visit. In particular, I prepared two activities concerning Biotechnology, Microbiology and Molecular Biology, namely media
inoculation techniques and agarose gel loading for electrophoresis. I also designed an online interactive quiz for students
to play.

of Leiria organized a series of initiatives, including awareness sessions for entrepreneurship, creativity/innovation, and
