Mário Gomes completed his PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering in 2007 at the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto (FEUP). Mário Gomes completed his Master's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering in 2000 at FEUP. Mário Gomes graduated in Electrical and Computer Engineering in 1997 from FEUP. Mário Gomes has been a lecturer at the Polytechnic Institute of Tomar (IPT) since 1997, and has held the category of Adjunct Professor at IPT since 2003. Mário Gomes has been a researcher at the IPT Smart Cities Research Center (Ci2) since 2020. Mário Gomes has published several relevant articles in specialized journals and at national and international conferences. Mário Gomes also has some publications in book chapters. Mário Gomes was awarded the REN 2001 prize (1st place).
