My bachelor's degree in Biology was completed in 2019/07/31, at University of Aveiro, with a classification of 14 out of 20, and my master's degree at University of Aveiro in 2021/12/09 with a classification of 17 out of 20. During my degrees I focused on numerous subjects linked to the field studies of ecology, ecotoxicology, plant biotechnology, plant physiology, genetics, biostatistics, and plant growth promoting rhizobacteria. During my academic background on my bachelor's degree I did volunteer work in two laboratories. I volunteered at "Fungal and Plant Biology lab", at University of Aveiro, where I developed skills related to in vitro culture where I performed some tests with micropropagation of several species. Additionally, I volunteered at "Rhizolab", where I worked with the influence of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) in the growth of several bacterial stains (Pseudomonas and Rhizobium) in soils under cadmium stress, through biochemical parameter analyses (SOD, GSTs, Proteins, PC and LPO), with potential to promote plant growth. I spent two years in the "Programa de Tutoria da UA"(tutoring programme at UA), 2018 and 2019, where I guided new students in their early days at the university. As the final project of my bachelor's degree, I did a curricular internship at GrowToGreen, a company focused on agricultural production in controlled environment (Indoor farming). I learned how to maintain the environmental parameters for the optimal growth of several species of plants, as well as how to make nutritious solutions for each one of the species, and how to maintain those same nutritious solutions. My master's dissertation entitled "Bacteria associated to the roots of Phaseolus vulgaris L. at different development stages: diversity and plant growth promotion" was evaluated with a classification of 19 out of 20. Within the development of my dissertation, I focused on bacterial diversity, plant promoting growth, biostatistics, and genetics. During my master I helped in three practical classes, in two curricular units "Laboratório e Campo em Microbiologia" and "Segurança e Microbiologia Alimentar" and I also tutored two bachelor students, introducing them to several laboratory techniques. Between my academic degrees, during my spare time from university, I worked as a service provider for the Associação Florestal do Baixo Vouga(AFBV) where I participated in the project "Phytoglobus e Protocolo Fitossanitário ", "Monitorização do Estado Fitossanitário da Floresta Em Portugal Continental" and assisted in several activities as a guide during the EXPOFLORESTAL in 2017, 2019, and 2022. After the finishing of my dissertarion I worked as a service provider for the Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification (PEFC) Portugal, working on data entry in their database, until August of 2022. I'm currently a member of Spanish/Portuguese Society for Nitrogen Fixation (SEFIN) where I have been accepted for a oral presentation in October, in the congress BeMiPlant 2022. At the moment i have two published articles, 1 as first author, and entitled as "Bacteria Associated with the Roots of Common Bean (Phaseolus vulgaris L.) at Different Development Stages: Diversity and Plant Growth Promotion", and other entitled as "Graphene oxide influence in soil bacteria is dose dependent and changes at osmotic stress: growth variation, oxidative damage, antioxidant response, and plant growth promotion traits of a Rhizobium strain". The last year and hald, I was employed by TECNIFERTI, working with microorganisms, specially bacteria, as a way to develop biofertilizers to promote plant growth. Now, I am with a PhD scholarship financed by FCT.
