John Omomoluwa Ogundiran is a distinguished researcher, consultant, and strategist specializing in sustainable energy systems, indoor environmental quality (IEQ), and energy technology management. He is completing his PhD in Sustainable Energy Systems at the University of Coimbra (UC), where he conducts cutting-edge research. He holds a master’s degree in Energy Technology and Management from the University of Ibadan and a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Ladoke Akintola University of Technology. John has extensive leadership experience, serving as a Research Fellow at the Association for Aerodynamic Industrial Development (ADAI), DEM, UC, since 2021. Prior to this, he contributed as a Research Participant at Instituto Superior Técnico, where he engaged in critical research projects. His managerial expertise spans multiple industries, having held leadership roles at Jevant Spencer Int'l Company, Ree & Jcube General Nigeria Ltd., and Techno Infra Habitat. Through these roles, he has demonstrated proficiency in project management, engineering supervision, and technical training.

2022/09/09 - Atual On November 9, 2022, the Convent of São Francisco hosted the 2nd edition of Inovação@UC, which was attended by around 600 people. ADAI was present, with a team of researchers who presented different projects to visitors. The innovations in measuring devices for IEQ, thermal comfort, and solar thermal adsorption, and the Safety Mask (Visor), a prototype developed within the scope of the “VV4MC” project, presented by Professor José Costa and researchers Nuno Rosa, Gonçalo Brites, and John Ogundiran, stand out.
