Cláudia graduated in Biochemistry, completed a Master's degree in Health Sciences, and earned a PhD in NeuroEpigenetics - Ageing and Chronic diseases. During her PhD research, she discovered a key role for the TET3 enzyme in brain function, published in top neuroscience journals and opened new routes to tackle neurological and neuropsychiatric (dys)function. Afterwards, she worked as a European Funding Consultant at INOVA+, coordinating projects and assisting national and international clients - universities, hospitals and companies - in developing H2020 R&D proposals. Thereafter, she managed research results and funding opportunities as a Science and Technology Manager at the Institute of Public Health of the University of Porto. In this context, she co-founded and coordinated the Office of Support to Intellectual Property & Services (GAPIS) and the ISPUP Gender Equality Working Group (GEWG). She is currently a Biotech Research Funding Advisor at the University of Minho, where she leads the LABBELS Grant Office. Cláudia holds certifications in Project Management, Research Management and Intellectual Property.
