I am an environmental engineer with a PhD in Environmental Science and Engineering, with research experience focused on sustainable energy systems, hydrogen technologies, and environmental performance assessment. My doctoral work addressed hydrogen production from waste-derived substrates, hydrogen storage in advanced nanomaterials, and the evaluation of system behaviour through experimental analysis and sustainability assessment. This research required a detailed understanding of hydrogen behaviour, mass transfer processes, and the technical factors that influence the integration of emerging hydrogen solutions into real operational environments. Throughout my PhD, I applied data analysis and machine learning tools to optimise experimental systems, analyse process performance, and support decision-making in energy-related applications. Working with hydrogen generation, storage, and system optimisation provided me with practical knowledge of hydrogen handling, system efficiency, and performance limitations under controlled laboratory conditions. More recently, in the ODESSA project, I have worked with large environmental and meteorological datasets using advanced analytical and modelling approaches. This experience strengthened my ability to analyse complex systems, interpret multi-variable interactions, and assess system responses under varying conditions. Together, these experiences support my interest in research related to hydrogen integration into existing energy infrastructures, particularly in understanding system behaviour, performance evaluation, and the challenges associated with scaling validated solutions to real operating conditions.
