I am Hamid Khoshdel, a Ph.D. researcher in Nanosciences and Nanotechnology at the University of Aveiro, Portugal. My research interests lie in quantum technology, semiconductor physics, nonlinear optics, and computational physics. I earned my M.Sc. in Optics and Lasers from Persian Gulf University, where I focused on determining the energies and eigenfunctions of quantum systems using the Imaginary Time Transformation Technique in the FDTD method. Before that, I completed my B.Sc. in Physics at Estahban University. Over the years, I have worked as a Research Assistant at the University of Zanjan and Persian Gulf University, where I contributed to studies on optical limiting, quantum circuits, and the electronic/optical properties of quantum systems under external fields. I have a strong background in numerical simulations, computational modeling, and programming with MATLAB, C++, and Python. My research has led to publications in peer-reviewed journals, including Optics Express and Scientific Reports, covering topics such as microwave gain-assisted optical limiting in molecular magnets and voltage-controlled Fresnel diffraction in quantum dots. Beyond research, I have experience as a Teaching Assistant, where I mentored undergraduate and graduate students in computational physics and programming. I am always eager to explore new challenges in physics and nanotechnology, combining theoretical and experimental approaches to push the boundaries of scientific discovery. My technical skills include COMSOL Multiphysics, Lumerical FDTD, Mathematica, LaTeX, and more.
