I am PhD student enrolled in the PhD program for Applied Mathematics at the University of Minho/Aveiro/Porto (MAP-PDMA). I have been awarded a PhD scholarship offered by Fundação para a Ciência e a Tecnologia (FCT) in collaboration with International Iberian Nanotechnology Laboratory (INL), and I am a member of the QLOC group at INL working under the supervision of Rui Soares Barbosa. I completed my Master's at the Institute for Theoretical Physics from the University of Cologne, under the supervision of prof. David Gross. My Master's thesis was at the intersection of quantum information and mathematics. During my research, I became familiar with methods from a variety of areas of mathematics, including discrete geometry, the theory of algebraic groups, and their representations. Additionally I improved my programming skills by working with Python, SageMath and GAP System for Computational Discrete Algebra. As part of the Master's program, I had the opportunity to work as a tutor for the undergraduate course Theoretical Physics I (Classical Mechanics) from which I gained experience in teaching. Additionally, I helped organising a Journal/literature club for Representation Theory of Lie groups. During my undergraduate studies, I worked at the research group NUSTRAP in the National Center of Scientific Research Democritos in Athens under the supervision of Prof. Theodoros Mertzimekis, doing my Bachelor's thesis in Nuclear Astrophysics. This work resulted in a conference proceedings paper.
