Maria do Céu Mendes Pinto Marques. She has a PhD in Psychology, is a Coordinating Professor at the University of Évora and an Integrated Member of the CHRC research center. In the last 5 years: she has published around 20 articles in indexed journals; around 16 chapters; she has made several national and international communications. He did ERASMUS: in Finland, Lahti University of Applied Sciences, in Murcia at UCAM and in Lyon at the University Claude Bernard. The aim of this mobility was to develop skills in clinical simulation. She participated in the cultural adaptation to Portuguese of the self-care scales: Self Care of Heart Failure Index - Patient Version; Self Care of Hypertension Inventory - Patient Version; Self Care of Coronary Heart Disease Inventory - Patient Version; Self Care of Chronic Illness Inventory - Patient Version and Caregiver Contribution to the Self Care of Coronary Heart Disease Inventory. She is a researcher on the validity studies of these scales. She has participated in scientific events abroad and in Portugal (organizing and scientific committees, master's degree juries, doctoral juries). She has co-supervised 2 doctoral theses, is the supervisor of 10 doctoral theses, including 2 international ones, and has supervised and is supervising multiple master's dissertations/reports. She has participated and is participating in funded national and international research projects and is principal investigator on two of them. She is the coordinator and instructor of the Basic Life Support training center, certified by the European Resuscitation Council. She is a member of the PNSD 2021-2026 Follow-up and Monitoring Committee. In her professional activities, she has interacted with multiple collaborators in co-authoring scientific articles and projects.
