Verónica Nogueira is a researcher at GreenUPORTO and Faculty of Sciences, University of Porto. She has a PhD in Biology and a MSc degree in Toxicology and Ecotoxicology, from the University of Aveiro. Her main research area has been nanoecotoxicology, terrestrial and aquatic ecology and ecotoxicology, risk assessment, wastewater treatment and reuse, waste valorization and sustainable use of residues. Dr. Verónica Nogueira has been very active in guiding or co-supervising more than 16 undergraduate and master's students. She is currently the author/co-author of 21 articles published in scientific journals (h-index 14) with more than 500 citations, several papers in Technical Journals, 1 Patent, two books and one book chapter, 20 oral communications and 26 poster presentations at national and international conferences. In addition, she is involved in several national and international research projects.
