Since 1999, I have been working as a strategic consultant and trainer in projects including areas such as: R&D and Innovation, New Business Models, Lean & Six Sigma, Industrial Optimization, Statistical Quality Control; Metrology; etc. These activities are being developed by two companies that I founded with other partners. The first company, AFERYMED, was founded in 1999 and I was responsible for its certification as a metrological verification entity of prepacked products, in 2001. In 2002, I founded SINMETRO that develops software applications for Statistical Process Control, Production Management and Industrial Maintenance. Currently, I am the CEO of SINMETRO and I coordinate the consulting and training areas. SINMETRO is a partner of MINITAB and I am an expert of this statistical software. In 2014, I founded Gugga, a communication agency to create and develop new business model based on the principal human to human (H2H). From 2009 to 2022 that I worked as an expert in the evaluation of R&D projects of the National Innovation Agency From 2000 to 2023 I taught several areas at the Polytechnic of Leiria where I also coordinated the Executive Training Courses which include the “Six Sigma Black Belt Post-Graduation”, “Open Innovation Post-Graduation”, among others. From 2011 to 2018 I was the President of the Dom Dinis Ideas and Businesses Incubator in Leiria. In 1998 I concluded a degree in Chemical Engineering, and in 2005 my Master in Instrumentation, Industrial Maintenance and Quality. In 2009, I successfully completed the Advanced Management Program for Executives at Universidade Católica Portuguesa and, in January 2022, the MITxPro Course: Data Science and Big Data Analytics: Making Data-Driven Decisions Since 2007, I have been a Certified Six Sigma Black Belt by American Society For Quality. In 2013 and 2014 I was the Licensee and Co-Organizer of TEDxYouth@Leiria. I lead the team and more than 700 people attended these two editions. I am a mother of three and trail runner passionate.
