Diana Cunha is a clinical psychologist. She holds a PhD in Clinical Psychology from the Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences of the University of Coimbra and has an Integrated Master in Clinical Psychology from the same University. She is a member of the GOVCOPP Research Unit on Governance, Competitiveness, and Public Policies. She has participated in several research projects in the areas of Family Psychology, Tourism, Pathological Gambling, Educational Psychology, and Personality. She was a contracted researcher at the 3 years Twine Project (University of Aveiro). She was a postdoctoral fellow at the Research Center for Psychology for Development at Lusíada University - Porto and a doctoral fellow at the Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences of the University of Coimbra. She collaborated as a Guest Assistant at the Polytechnic Institute of Viseu and the Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences and as an Assistant Professor at Lusíada University. She was a trainer and pedagogical coordinator on the graduate course in Systemic Family Intervention, at the CRIAP Institute. She supervised several master's theses and has published 40 peer-reviewed book chapters and articles, both national and international.
